Disclaimer: This blog is completely boring, and may include entries on when I last washed my dishes, how many pairs of shoes I own, and the occasional rant. I appreciate all the visits and comments you have left on my blog. It's very nice of you to take time out of your busy day to visit me...please come back again soon! If this is not what you're looking for. Move along. This is my little soapbox.

Matter of time

I come from a long line of long lived women. My great grandmother Strong lived to well over 100 years.  My Grandmother Frazier lived to the ripe old age of 104.
My mother suffered a stroke in June and she then turned 94 on the 15th.
She took a turn for the worse last Friday.
It is just a matter of time now.
Mom with 3 of her 6 great grandchildren. Taken when Greg was home from Australia.

I'm so sorry to hear that...
My Nana went in a similar manner...we waited for the inevitable.
(and that can suck a lot)
All the time spent at hospital, talking to her, assuring here to some degree, when we knew otherwise.

The best you can do is let her know she's never alone.
And tell her what you WANT to tell her if you can, because after it's all over, there's little left but regrets for things you WISHED you said.
(I know)

Stay strong and do stay safe down there.
